The Denise Hametz Dollar-a-Day of Raritan Valley was established to enable and hopefully encourage community-wide daily participation in of the mitzvah of tzedakah - through daily donations to charity. The mission statement of The Denise Hametz Dollar-a-Day of Raritan Valley (DaDRV) is:
Giving charity should be an everyday activity. The Denise Hametz Dollar-a-Day of Raritan Valley makes the mitzvah easy and attainable. The Denise Hametz Dollar-a-Day of Raritan Valley will make this daily mitzvah accessible to every member of our community and beyond.
Beneficiaries, including local Orthodox Shuls, Schools, Mikvaot, and Chesed organizations, will receive continual portions of the collected contributions made to The Denise Hametz Dollar-a-Day of Raritan Valley.
